AYUSH is a traditional and non-conventional system of health care and healing which include Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy. The erstwhile the Department of Indian Systems of Medicine and Homeopathy (ISM & H) renamed as the Department of Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy during 1995.

Those who manufacture and deal in Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy medicines have to take AYUSH License in India.

The following are the different types of AYUSH Licenses:

• Third Party Manufacturing License

The following qualifictions are required for Ayush License in India:

• BAMS is Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery. BAMS is a five-and-a-half-year degree program covering the study of the integrated traditional ayurvedic system and modern medicine
• BUMS is Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery (BUMS)? Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery (BUMS) is a five-year undergraduate programme that candidates can pursue after completing higher secondary education.
• BHMS is Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery. BHMS is an academic undergraduate degree course that covers homoeopathic system medical knowledge.

• Form 24D
• Attested Copy of Plan of the Premises with Partitions & Measurements.
• Attested Copies of Ownership documents of the Building.
• Declaration of Proprietor or Managing Partner or Managing Director in Affidavit-I and attested copies of partnership deed/memorandum of association and articles of association.
• List of manufacturing & Analytical equipments.
• Appointment letter of Fulltime Technical Supervisor.
• Declaration / Consent letter of Fulltime Technical Supervisor (FTS).
• Academic Qualification & Registration Certificate, Bio-data & Experience Certificate of the Fulltime Technical Supervisor (FTS).
• List of Shastric Medicines Xerox Copies of the Concerned Pages of reference book duly signed by FTS with samples.
• 2 Passport size photos each of Proprietor & FTS
• 2 Sales packed draft labels for each drug as per D & C Rules with different names if any.
• 10 Samples for each drug with sales pack draft labels with different sizes if any.
• Self-addressed envelope with sufficient postal stamps for Registered Post.
• Clinical Trial Reports from (3) institutionally qualified.
• Drug Information in the Quadruplicate in the following lines for Anubhutha Yogams (Patent Drugs) duly signed by the Proprietor and F.T.S.: (a) Name of the Product, (b) Formula, shall contain Shastric/Tibbi Name part used and quantity, (c) Detailed method of preparation, (d) Purification of drugs wherever required, (e) Indications (in Ayurveda/Unani terminology), (f) Dosage schedule in details, (g) Passage Schedule in detail, (h) Contra – Indications, (i) Side effects, (j) Anti – dates Diet restriction, if any.

  Preparation of Documents

  Through CompaniesHouse - One Hour Job

  We will prepare the above documents in oder and create user credentials in the state ayush webportal. Mobile and Email OTPs will be generated, once we enter the OTPs and submit, the user account will be activated.

  Online Submission

  Through Ayush Portal - 1 Day

  We will then fill the complete application online by attaching the above documents and pay the prescribed fee. Once we pay and submit the application, an acknowledgement will be generated.

  Ayush Drug Inspector Visit & Certificate of Registration

  Through Ayush Dept - 2 Weeks time

  Once the acknowledgement is generatetd, the application will be assigned to the area ayush drug inspector, if the application is in order, he will then visit the premises and gives the inspection report to the ayush department, then they will approve the application. You can download the certificate from login into your account on ayush web portal.
